ND Care & Support to launch recruitment drive after new domiciliary care tender is confirmed in RCT
The search begins to fill hundreds of jobs expected in light of RCTCBC contract.
ND Care & Support is launching a major recruitment drive after a new tender to provide domiciliary care to adults was confirmed with Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council (RCTCBC).
The leading South Wales-based care provider supports people with differing care needs including those with a learning disability and mental health needs, to others requiring personal or palliative care.
It will now also offer care services to adults in Hirwaun, Aberdare, Mountain Ash, Abercynon, Pontypridd, Treforest, Rhydfelin, Hawthorn, Church Village, Llantwit Fardre, Taffs Well and many more locations across Rhondda Cynon Taf.
Rebecca Ford, Director of ND Care & Support, said: “This new agreement with RCT County Borough Council will enable ND Care & Support to support even more people in Wales to live as independently as possible.
“Securing this contract presents us with the chance to not only further develop and enhance the services we provide, but to also open up a significant number of employment opportunities to those living in, or able to work in, the RCT area too.”
“We are absolutely delighted to be providing quality care services more widely than ever to communities in Wales and further afield, therefore, and are dedicated as a team to be further enhancing the lives of residents living in RCT wherever, and however, we are able.”
A registered member of Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW), ND Care supports more than 450 individuals and their families, with over 350 care workers working across Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Cardiff, Carmarthenshire, Merthyr Tydfil, Monmouthshire, Newport, Powys, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Torfaen, and Vale of Glamorgan.
Staff employed in the Rhondda Cynon Taf area will work out of the company’s Merthyr Tydfil office under new Team Manager Ashleigh Ridgeway, who has been appointed to oversee the new ND Care & Support team responsible for delivering these services. Another office to help ND Care & Support cover RCT is then expected to open further down the line.
Ashleigh, who has eight years’ experience in the care sector, said: “I’m really looking forward to helping the team bring the tender opportunity which has arisen to life for the wider benefit of residents living and working in the Rhondda Cynon Taf area.
“I am delighted to be joining the team at ND Care & Support, as an organisation with a strong track record as a committed and dedicated provider of domiciliary care services for adults and children alike.
“We are now looking for Care Workers to join us, so we can provide the quality care and support services we pride ourselves on.”
