New Directions Supports Chepstow Schools Kenya Tour 2011 -Update

Chepstow Schools trip to Kenya was a resounding success. All the funds raised allowed them to make a real difference to St Nicholas School and Orphanage, as well as 3 other schools in the south of Kenya: Wasimi, Mkwiro and Shimoni, in so many ways:

• Redecorated the dining hall at St Nicholas
• Created murals in the school
• Presented St Nicholas with a large screen solar laptop as well several Kindels
• Provided a large range of specialist sports equipment
• All schools received sports kit and football shirts
• Donated large amounts of stationary to all schools
• Learning resources and reading schemes were shared amongst the schools
