Shrewsbury School takes part in ‘The Tucks’

A big event will be taking place this week as the whole of Shrewsbury School will be competing in a traditional race called the ‘Tucks’.

The event will see over 700 pupils, 100 teaching staff and 30 grounds staff taking part in the 3.5 mile race which starts and finishes on the football pitch in Meole Village. The ‘Tucks’ is an annual event for the school and dates back to 1831.
