War Hero Peter Dunning returns to Wallasey
Afghan War hero, Peter Dunning returns to his old school St Marys Catholic College in Wallasey for an annual prize giving.
Peter Dunning spoke of his experiences whilst on service in Helmand Province and discussed his tragic injuries of losing both his legs in a land mine explosion. He referred to his hard work and determination in rehabilitating his life and talked about all the hard work and determination of the students through hard work and successes.
Mr Dunning was selected to carry the Paralympic Flame in Vancouver last year and has become a member of the Great Britain Disabled Ski team. Help with funding towards Mr Dunning competing in the Paralympics came from St Marys Catholic College who presented him with a £2,000 cheque which was raised earlier this year by a balloon race.
