Coleg Morgannwg Open £40m Campus

The new build Coleg Morgannwg campus at Nantgarw will be officially opened by Jeff Cuthberts AM, Deputy Minister for Skills on 26 September 2012. The building will see all students transferred across from the current Rhydyfelin campus. It will also house the new Advanced Level Centre, which will offer over 20 A Level courses.

The £40m project is hoped to bring high quality training and education to the surrounding regions for generations to come

Speaking about the innovative four floor campus, Gary Williams, Director of Sales and Business Development for New Directions Education said ‘This is an exciting time for students at Coleg Morgannwg, the new building will create exciting opportunities for individuals and businesses across the area. We wish the team all the very best of luck with the venture.’

Students started their first term at the campus at the beginning of September 2012.
