Manchester Team Support Macmillan Coffee Morning
The New Directions Manchester team has raised £153 for the Macmillan Cancer Charity. The team set up a stall in Phillips High School in Bury and sold a variety of sweet treats to the pupils. Working with two supply teachers Barry Paul and Kerry Carinci who both work through the branch (pictured), Manager Amanda Stothard and former Head Teacher and now Business Development Officer for New Directions, Stuart Ash donated doughnuts towards the sale.
The Macmillan Coffee morning was celebrated across the world to raise awareness and funds for the cancer charity. Speaking about her teams participation, Amanda said ‘I enjoyed getting involved and it was all for a good cause’.
