We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and committed Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant’s to support the SEN units and mainstream schools across Pembroke.

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about working with children and have the drive and desire to help children with their learning.

To work across all Key stages (Foundation – Year 6)

We are looking for candidates who have good communication skills, good literacy, and who will have previously worked in a Teaching Assistant role or similar. Ideally you will be trained to NVQ Level 2 standard or higher in childcare. This is preferable but not essential. Ideally you will be available for short and/or long term posts.

Positions may include working on a one-to-one basis to support children, provide curriculum support, assist with playground and playtime activities, help with personal care and independent work.

The successful candidates should have good interpersonal skills and be willing to work closely with a dedicated and friendly team of staff.
