New Directions Liverpool Team Open Day Success

New Directions Education Liverpool have recently hosted an open day for Primary and Secondary NQT’s, Teachers, Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors. The event was an opportunity for candidates to find out more regarding the education sector and the job opportunities the team have to offer.

Stephanie, a Supply Teacher in attendance said “I attended the New Directions open event, knowing little about the organisation. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff are professional and knowledgeable about all aspects of supply teaching and know what the schools are looking for. They have a huge portfolio of schools and colleges on their books. The interview process was thorough and I went away feeling they will represent me well in attaining short-term work within days and my goal for longer term placements too. This is by far the most impressive agency I have worked with”.

Lisa Harper, Branch Manager for New Directions Liverpool said “The open day was a huge success, it was very refreshing engaging with the teachers of our children’s future. The enthusiasm from all in attendance across the day was truly inspiring. Not only were we able to deliver advice and guidance to the newly qualified teachers – but we also had the opportunity to discuss current jobs and match candidates to very well suited roles within local schools to where the candidates live. The coaching and mentoring session went down a storm from Stuart Ash, Stuart is a former headteacher of 18 years and thrives off sharing his wealth of knowledge with the students. The day was such a success we will be regularly holding open days to further support educationalists within the North West area. This is a very exciting time to work with students/teachers alike to ensure they have secured work from September”.
