Retirement – Assistant Headteacher – Bishop Hedley Roman Catholic High School

Kate Robinson – Secondary Account Manager from New Directions Education recently presented Mrs Glenys Jones, Assistant Headteacher of Bishop Hedley Roman Catholic High School with a stunning bouquet of flowers for to her retirement at the end of July 2013.

Glenys, an “exceptional” teacher won a lifetime achievement award; winning the Ted Wragg Award for Lifetime Achievement in Wales at the 2012 Pearson Teaching Awards.

She has been at the school for over 38 years, teaching Economics and Business Studies.

Thanking the New Directions team for the gift she said ‘Please accept my thanks for the beautiful bouquet’.

‘New Directions have been a fantastic supply agency to deal with. They are very professional and friendly- especially at 7.00am in the morning when I have been desperate to obtain supply staff at very short notice. It’s been a pleasure dealing with my Account Manager. I would like to thank them personally for their professionalism, friendship and humor. Thank you New Directions.”

Kate and the team will miss their daily contact with Glenys, and wish her a very very happy retirement!
