New Directions Education sponsor Wilbraham Primary Schools Attendance Campaign
New Directions Education in Manchester are proud to be working alongside Wilbraham Primary School based in the Fallowfield area of Manchester by sponsoring their attendance campaign for the year.
The school is a 2.5 form entry school with almost 600 children on roll and is well-known for providing a caring, supportive and enjoyable environment for its children, parents and the wider community. The school this year is looking to improve on last years fantastic attendance results with the launch of their 100% Badges and Certificates for Attendance scheme.
Rebecca Rosson, Administration Manager and Attendance Officer from Wilbraham commented ‘that EVERY school pupil who achieves 100% attendance each half term will receive an exclusively designed badge and certificate for that half term’.
There are 5 badges for the children to achieve this year:
HALF TERM 1: Monday 9th September 2013 to Friday 25th October 2013 – RED BADGE
HALF TERM 2: Monday 4th November 2013 to Friday 20th December 2013 – YELLOW BADGE
HALF TERM 3: Tuesday 7th January 2014 to Friday 14th February 2014 – GREEN BADGE
HALF TERM 4: Monday 24th February 2014 to Friday 4th April 2014 – BLUE BADGE
HALF TERM 5: Tuesday 22nd April 2014 to Friday 23rd May 2014 – PURPLE BADGE
To earn the badges the children must attend every day during each half term to earn a badge. If they miss out on one badge they will still have the opportunity to achieve the badge in another half term. If a child earns all five badges they will receive an exclusively designed gold medal at the end of the school year!
Gareth Beamount Account Manager from New Directions Education has agreed to support the school with this initiative by sponsoring the school to enable them to buy the badges and medals. Gareth commented ‘ Attendance at school is vital to a child’s future prospects, we are excited to be able to support the school with this initiative which will improve on the schools fantastic results from last year’
