Rhyl High Head Teacher selected for National Leadership Development Board
Claire Armistead, head teacher at Rhyl High School has been chosen to be part of the Welsh Government’s new National Leadership Development Board and she is delighted to have been chosen. The board is made up of independent education professionals who will focus on the provision of high quality leadership development in support of the Welsh Government’s school improvement agenda
Claire was chosen to be part of the board by an open recruitment process and the board consists of a wide range of expertise and experience in developing leadership capacity within the school system. The board will advise and ensure initiatives from the Welsh Government which relates to leadership development

Claire gives all the pupils at Rhyl High, every opportunity to develop the skills and attitudes which shows in the ever improving GCSE results”.
