YGG Llwyncelyn, yn codi arian i (fundraising for) Great Ormond Street Hospital
Mae Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Llwyncelyn yn Porth, RCT yn angerddol am godi arian mawr ei angen ar gyfer Ysbyty Great Ormond Street. Yn anffodus yn ystod y 5 mlynedd diwethaf mae sawl unigolyn o’r ysgol wedi gorfod cael triniaeth yn yr ysbyty hynod yma. Mae’r Ysgol felly yn awyddus i godi cymaint o arian ag sy’n bosibl ar gyfer yr ysbyty.
Mae nhw wedi cael nifer o syniadau ac eisoes wedi dechrau ar rhai:
• Mae’r disgyblion wedi seiclo 1,500 Km ar feiciau ymarfer yng nghampfa’r ysgol!
• Mae nhw wedi cynnal bore coffi.
• Nesaf – Bydd Mr D Roberts, Athro Blwyddyn 6 yn yr ysgol yn beicio’r cwrs Olympaidd yn Llundain! 100 milltir!
Mae’r ysgol yn falch i ddweud eu bod wedi codi dros £ 6,500 hyd yn hyn ar gyfer yr achos da.
Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Llwyncelyn in Porth, RCT are passionate about raising much needed funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital. Sadly over the last 5 years several individuals form the school have had to receive treatment from this remarkable hospital. The school are therefore eager to raise as much money as possible for the hospital.
They have come up with a number ideas and have already put some into action:
- The pupils have cycled 1500 Km on exercise bikes in the school gym!
- They’ve held a coffee morning.
- Next – Mr D Roberts, the school’s Year 6 Teacher is cycling the Olympic course in London! 100 miles!
The school are pleased to say that they have raised over £6500 so far for this good cause.
