Llanfynydd Community Primary School’s Summer Fayre
Dan and Shelley from New Directions attended Llanfynydd CP’s Summer Fayre on Friday 12th July 2014. The pair came armed with the much-loved New Directions Penalty Shoot Out and helped man the stall in the afternoon, which created a lot of interest. The Shoot Out was 10p a go and there was a prize for every goal scored. There were some fantastic footballers at the school and many prizes won.
The school raised somewhere in the region of £500 on the day. The children had been doing entrepreneur week to prepare for the Fayre and did participate in making some of the items for sale as well as doing the sales on the stalls. Some children had made chocolate spoons, which seemed popular, there was also a sweets job, cake stall, ice lollies, a raffle etc.
The weather was perfect for a summer fayre and was a great day all round.
