Inspirational Teaching Awards – New Category Announced for 2015

New Directions Education launched our annual Inspirational Teaching Awards on March 12th 2015. This year we have created an additional category for FE Lecturer.

We believe that every facet of the education sector across Wales should be involved in celebrating success. The Further Education community adds so much to the learning and development of our young people, and to the growth of lifelong learning sector.

Speaking about the award, Kelly Storer, Regional Manager for New Directions said ‘This category honours those individuals who work to ensure post-16 education remains current and pertinent. Through our work with FE colleges across Wales, we hear of staff who give direction and understanding to so many individuals. From school leavers to those returning to work or enhancing their career opportunities, FE is a sector that should be celebrated’.

This year, we would like to see as many nominations as possible from across Wales. We are so very proud of your community and we want to ensure that you get the recognition you deserve.

The Inspirational Teaching Awards will take place on Friday 19th June 2015 at the Mercure Holland House in Cardiff. We would be delighted to see colleges across Wales represented.
