New Directions Education Wrexham – Official Office Opening
On Thursday 14th May, leading recruitment and training agency, New Directions Education held the launch of their official office opening.
The team have now relocated to a third location in Kingsway House at Wrexham Technology Park since opening an office in the region in 2009. The location affords the team more space to continue to work with schools and colleges across North Wales, but still remains in close proximity to the city centre for ease of access.
Deputy Mayor, Councillor Barbra Roxburgh attended the event, along with a number of candidates and clients from local schools and colleges. Speaking about the event, Councillor Roxburgh said “I’m very impressed, as soon as you walk in you can feel there is a friendly atmosphere. The staff I’ve met are enthusiastic to tell me about their job and obviously love working for the company.”
Speaking about the move, Jenna Whittam, Branch Manager for the team says “This move signals another sustained period of growth for New Directions. This represents a trend that is happening across North Wales – SME’s are investing in setting down their business roots in a region that supports businesses, with an infrastructure that means we can grow and add to the local economy”.

Since moving to the region the business has signposted over 1,000 candidates into employment, filling 39,301 bookings for schools and colleges across North Wales. This year the business was also named as ‘Supplier of the Year’ at the Welsh National Procurement Awards.
