Ysgol Trelogan raise £290 for Children in Need

Ysgol Trelogan raised a huge £290 for Children in Need by holding a pyjama party at the school on Friday 13th November. The children and staff were all involved in the fundraising, it was a real team effort. The children at the school designed and made ‘Pudsey goody bags’ which proved very popular with both children and staff as they sold a whopping 110 goody bags! Children in the foundation phase also got involved by baking Pudsey themed cakes (with a little help from the staff).
Deputy Head Teacher Mrs Heulwen Sharp commented ‘We are really happy with how much money we have raised considering we are such a small school.’
New Directions were invited to join in the fun at the PJ party. They got involved and joined the children with making up the goody bags. Shannon Mash New Directions employee commented ‘It was great to get involved with the fundraiser. It was nice to see the children get stuck and they were all so polite and well behaved. Myself and Sophie would like to thank the staff and children for making us feel so welcome.’
