Llanvihangel Crucorney ‘Coffs’ up for Charity.
Llanvihangel Crucorney Primary in Abergavenny, Monmouthshire might only be a small school with 54 Pupils but when it comes to charity work, they certainly know how to rise to mighty standards.
On the morning of Thursday 26th November the whole school community turned up to show their support for the school’s coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and New Directions staff Rachel Allen (Primary Teacher Account Manager) and Anna Powell (Primary Branch Manager) were delighted to be invited to this community event. Rachel commented “Upon arrival, you could sense the great community spirit within the room. There was an extensive array of delicious cakes and fantastic entertainment from the school choir. It was so kind of Llanvihangel Crucorney Primary School to invite us and it was a privilege to support this event.”
Sherri Davies, Head Teacher at Llanvihangel Crucorney Primary School commented “These events are made possible by the tremendous support from the school’s community including friends and family of the staff and pupils. Local community tea mornings have closed their doors today to attend the school’s event and local companies have donated an array of prizes for the school’s raffle. I also need to thank the pupils of Llanvihangel Crucorney who sang so beautifully and played an integral role in organising this coffee morning.”
Llanvihangel Crucorney Primary School raised £355 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
