Meet our Prize Draw Winner from the Cardiff Met Teaching Fayre

On 5th February 2016, New Directions were invited to attend the Cardiff Metropolitan University Teacher Fayre. This event gave New Directions the opportunity to meet the Primary PGCE Cohort who will be looking for NQT teaching posts come September.

At the event, New Directions was represented by Anna Powell, Branch Manager for our Cardiff Primary team, Jennifer Lambert, Account Manager and Meilir Tecwyn, Welsh Language Medium (WLM) Sales Support. The team organised a free prize draw which gave students the opportunity to win a £100 Tesco voucher if they registered their details with us.

The lucky winner was Lauren James who commented, “I am really pleased to win this voucher and I am going to spoil my little boy as my course has kept me quite busy! Furthermore my Teaching placement is in Monmouthshire, therefore part of the voucher will go towards petrol. I look forward to working with New Directions in September after I qualify.”

Anna Powell commented about the event as a whole, “I was really impressed with the organisation of the event. There was an excellent turnout and the students were very receptive to working with ourselves and hearing about New Directions.”
