New Directions gives road safety the green light
New Directions Education have donated a cheque for £50 to pay for high visibility jackets for pupils at Acrefair School in Wrexham.
The jackets are for children aged between 5-7 years and the adults who are looking after them, to ensure that they are visible on the busy main road which is located next to the school.
Rebecca Turner, Headteacher at Acrefair School says, “Thank you to New Directions for this donation, we as a school take road safety for the children very seriously and want to teach the children the importance of road safety awareness – these high visibility jackets will be an asset to the school”
Jenna Whittam, Branch Manager at our Wrexham office comments, “It is always good to promote road safety awareness and when Rebecca Turner approached us we were more than happy to support this good cause”.
