Completing your statutory teaching induction webinar

Join QA lead for the Induction of NQTs, Rebecca Roach, Primary School Headteacher David Lewis and New Directions Education Account Manager, Matthew James, to learn some key skills and gain a greater understanding of the expectations of NQTs.
In this informative webinar they will cover:
An understanding for student teachers on their options post-graduation. A greater understanding about completing your statutory induction on both supply and in a permanent position and the assessment process itself.
About the speakers
Rebecca Roach
Rebecca Roach is the CSC QA Lead for Induction, representing all 4 regional leads from Wales. I have taught for 22 years in Secondary Schools in London and South Wales and have been a member of the Senior Leadership Team for 4 years.
David Lewis
David has an array of experience from his position as the Headteacher of Aberbargoed Primary School since September 2008 and as a headteacher at other schools since January 1999.
Matthew James
Matthew has worked for New Directions Education for over 4 years. As the account manager for all Cardiff based Primary schools, he has built strong working relationships with local schools and teachers. Matt works with both mainstream and ALN schools to find the right opportunities for short-term and long-term placements for local teachers. He is the main contact for all students and newly qualified teachers, working closely with the EWC to ensure all new teachers have the best support and advice.
