New Directions are currently seeking dedicated School Caretakers and Cleaners to join our bank of staff in Wrexham! Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the school premises are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Carry out routine inspections of the facilities and report any maintenance issues.
• Assist with setting up and taking down equipment for school events and activities.
• Manage waste and disposal and recycling processes.
• Provide a welcoming atmosphere for staff, students, and visitors.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a caretaking or maintenance role (preferred but not essential)
• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
