Job Description

Due to a high demand, we are currently looking for full-time Primary School Teachers to teach within schools across The Wirral. If you are a passionate, enthusiastic and inspiring educator we want to hear from you.

We are currently looking for teachers across all year groups from Early Year Foundation Stage (EYFS) to Key Stage 1 (KS1) right through to Key Stage 2 (KS2). Whether you are looking for long-term roles in which you can put your own stamp on a class or ad-hoc day to day in which you can experience different school environments and further develop your skills, we have something to suit you.

Responsibilities include:
– Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that meet the requirements of the curriculum, ensuring differentiation to cater to all learners’ needs.
– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
– Utilise effective teaching strategies and resources to engage students in active learning, promoting critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning skills.

We recruit primary teachers for jobs in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2) primary teacher job roles.

As a primary school teacher you’ll be expected to:

  • Teach all areas of the school curriculum or your subject specialism
  • Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
  • Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
  • Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
  • Maintain discipline
  • Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
  • Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
  • Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
  • Take part in school events and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening
  • Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools
