New Directions are searching for competent, proactive and passionate Teaching Assistants to work in a range of Welsh Medium Primary & Secondary schools in Denbighshire
Welsh speaking supply staff are in demand in North Wales schools and the work is varied and flexible.
The work available can be covering day to day supply however we do have long term positions also available.
A background of working with children is preferred and an advantage, but is not essential.
We have the option to register candidates as a Trainee Teaching Assistant, as long as we can reference experience in roles such as working in a team, coaching and working with children outside of education.
As a teaching assistant you’ll be expected to:
Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of other staff.
Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Programmes (IEP) for students and help monitor their progress
Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills
