Grade: EYFS (F1 Class)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join a primary school in Ellesmere Port. This position offers the opportunity to work in their EYFS F1 Class, supporting small groups of students on a supply basis from January 2025 to July 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
– Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities
– Work with small groups of students to provide targeted support and assistance
– Assist in creating a positive learning environment that fosters growth and development
– Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the well-being and progress of all students

Requirements:
– Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
– Experience working with young children, particularly in an EYFS setting
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team
– Patient, friendly, and supportive attitude towards students

As a teaching assistant you’ll be expected to:

• Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the head teacher, ALNCO and class teachers

• Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
• Assist class teachers with maintaining student records
• Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills
