New Directions are currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to work in a nursery class within Primary Schools in the Newport area. You will be working under the guidance of teachers to support students across the curriculum in the Newport area.
This role is for a person who is, motivated, and can help children achieve their full potential, creating a positive environment for them to thrive. You may be working with children with challenging behaviour so you will need to be resilient, consistent and understanding of their needs.
Essential
A minimum of 3 months child-based experience/ or a background in the care sector

A child and adult DBS – or be willing to undertake one via New Directions
A willingness to complete mandatory training when required
