Position: Level 2 Teaching Assistant (EYFS)
Location: Wirral
Contract: Part-time, Afternoons (All Week)
Start Date: January 2025

An exciting opportunity has arisen at a primary school based in Wirral for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team. This part-time role will involve supporting young learners in the afternoons, all week, starting from January 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
– Provide support to EYFS teachers and children
– Assist with the implementation of EYFS curriculum
– Help create a stimulating and nurturing learning environment
– Support individual students’ needs and development
– Collaborate with the EYFS team and parents

Requirements:
– Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent
– Experience working in an Early Years setting is desirable
– Passion for working with young children
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • Assist class teachers with maintaining student records
  • Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills
