New Directions Education is seeking a confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to work in secondary schools across Thanet. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into the classroom and inspire students while supporting their learning journey. This role is available for an immediate start and is ideal for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in education.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons to classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Managing the classroom effectively to ensure students remain on task.
• Building positive relationships with students and staff.
• Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Supporting students’ learning and development across a range of subjects.
• Following school policies and procedures to ensure high standards of behavior and learning.

Job Specification:

• Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence to manage a classroom and engage with students.
