English Teacher
Margate
Feb 2025 – July 2025
£120 – £150 per day (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)

This outstanding Secondary School based in Margate is looking for a progressive and supportive English teacher to join their team. This will be a long-term role starting in February through to the end of the academic year, with the possibility of becoming permanent. We are seeking a strong and enthusiastic English teacher who can deliver inspiring lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5. Applications from ECTs are warmly welcomed, and induction support will be available.

As an English Teacher, you’ll be expected to:

• Hold a PGCE and UK QTS.
• Plan, prepare, and teach lessons that cater to all student ability ranges.
• Maintain discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
• Handle lesson planning and attend parents’ evenings.
• Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative, and ambitious.
• Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students aged 11 – 18, meeting their educational needs and ability levels.

The Successful English Teacher must have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience in teaching English.
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• References available upon request.
• An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one).
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• A passion for teaching English.
