Location: Ellesmere Port, Cheshire
Start Date: Immediate start until summer 2025
Working Hours: Full-time, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm

Are you a dedicated and experienced Level 2/3 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) seeking a rewarding role in an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting? A welcoming primary school based in Ellesmere Port is currently looking for a passionate individual to join their team full-time until the summer of 2025.

Essential Requirements:
– Qualified at Level 2/3 as a Learning Support Assistant
– Experience working in an EYFS setting

Beneficial Skills:
– Experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Key Responsibilities:
– Support students in the EYFS setting with their learning and development
– Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCO to provide additional support
– Create engaging educational activities to enhance student learning

Teaching or classroom assistants are now vital resources for teachers and are heavily relied upon in schools.

  • Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
  • Assist class teachers with maintaining student records
  • Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills
