£31,650 – £49,084 Per Annum (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)

New Directions are seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS/KS1 Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive school based in Skelmersdale. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of inspiring young learners and creating engaging, inclusive learning environments. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the educational journey of our youngest pupils. In a recent Ofsted inspection, the school was rated as ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding’ features, particularly recognising the dedication of the staff and the strong outcomes for students.

As a EYFS/KS1 Teacher you’ll be expected to:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across EYFS and KS1.
  • Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment.
  • Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
  • Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation.
  • Maintain discipline.
  • Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupil’s development.
  • A deep understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 curriculum.
  • Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum.
  • Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.

To apply the candidate must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching EYFS and/or KS1 (NQTs are welcome to apply).
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Able to provide Referees.
  • An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
