Supply Teacher Liverpool Full-Time ASAP £31,650 – £49,084 Per Annum (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)
New Directions are looking for a flexible, enthusiastic, and reliable Supply Teacher to join our team. As a Supply Teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality education across various subjects and key stages during staff absences. You will step into different classrooms, adapting quickly to the specific needs of each year group, and delivering engaging lessons that maintain the high standards of teaching our students are accustomed to.
In a recent Ofsted inspection, the school was rated as ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding’ features, particularly recognising the dedication of the staff and the strong outcomes for students.
As a Supply Teacher you’ll be expected to:
Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment.
Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation.
Maintain discipline.
Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupil’s development.
Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area.
Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum.
Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.
To apply the candidate must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Knowledge of the National Curriculum
Able to provide Referees.
An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
Eligibility to work in the UK.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to new classroom environments.
