This outstanding Secondary School based in Liverpool are looking for a motivated and supportive Science teacher to join their team on maternity cover. We are looking for a strong and enthusiastic Science teacher who can deliver inspiring lessons across KS3, KS4. Applications from ECTs are warmly welcomed and induction support will be available. As a Science Teacher you’ll be expected to:

• Hold a PGCE and UK QTS
• Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
• Maintain discipline.
• Lesson Planning and overseeing parents evenings
• Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and ambitious
• Have a passion for teaching secondary science
• To deliver religious education lessons to groups of pupils from all abilities across ages 11 – 18 according to their educational needs and levels of ability.

The Successful Science Teacher must have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience Of Teaching Sceince
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Able to provide Referees.
• An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Passionate about teaching Science
