SEND School Teacher – Immediate Start – ECTs Apply

Full-Time
Immediate Start
£31,650 – £49,084 Per Annum (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)

We are open to receiving applications from Early Years Teachers (ECT’s) and more experienced.

This SEND school in Wirral are on the lookout for an experienced, or newly qualified, Primary or Secondary trained teachers with experience of supporting pupils with additional needs and or challenging behaviour. We can accommodate teachers on both a full and part-time basis. As a result of a strong and supportive senior leadership team, the school has very little turnover in their teaching department. In a recent Ofsted inspection, they were graded as ‘Good’ with outstanding features.

As a SEND School Teacher you’ll be expected to:

  • Teach the school curriculum.
  • Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment.
  • Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
  • Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation.
  • Maintain discipline.
  • Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupil’s development.
  • Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area.
  • Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum.
  • Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.

To apply the candidate must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Able to provide Referees.
  • An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
