Team Teach Level 2 Teaching Assistant
Manchester (Fallowfield)
Full-Time | ASAP Start
£425-£450 per week (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)
Applicants must hold a Team Teach Level 2 Qualification
New Directions Education is excited to be working with a specialist school in Fallowfield that supports learners with SEMH & Complex Needs. This school is committed to inclusive education, offering a variety of pathways to support students in reaching their full potential.
We are seeking a Team Teach Level 2 Teaching Assistant with experience working with primary or secondary-aged students with additional needs. Strong behaviour management skills and a passion for supporting teaching and learning are essential.
About the Team Teach Level 2 Teaching Assistant Role:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students.
- Assist in teaching GCSE and Functional Skills subjects.
- Help develop individual education and behaviour plans to set and achieve learning goals.
- Build trusting relationships with students, adapting to their needs.
- Support classroom learning and encourage engagement in activities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in care, youth work, coaching, or education.
- Understanding of SEND, specifically SEMH.
- Behaviour management & de-escalation experience.
- Outgoing, engaging, and able to build strong relationships.
- Team Teach Level 2 trained (or willing to attend free training through New Directions).
- Experience in the education and training sector
