Job Description

New Directions Education are looking to recruit a Humanities Teacher to work in a secondary school in the Powys area to enrich the learning and development of KSK3 and KS4 students. We are looking for candidates who would like to work on both long-term placements and ad hoc to work different days throughout the week at your preference.

The right candidate will need to demonstrate:

. Strong classroom management and organisational skills

. Demonstrate a high degree of initiative

. Be able to work independently as well as part of a faculty team

. Have the ability to motivate pupils and achieve excellent results

The roles are with an immediate start and we are looking for both experienced and newly qualified teachers to apply. However, you must hold QTS. Even for unsuccessful candidates of this role there is still the opportunity for casual and flexible work with us, we give you full control of when you want to work.
