We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a wonderful primary school in Wallasey. This part-time role focuses on providing support to Year 3 students during their morning sessions, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities for Year 3 students.
– Provide targeted support to individual students or small groups, fostering their academic and personal development.
– Help create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes confidence and enthusiasm for learning.
– Support the social and emotional needs of the students, encouraging positive behaviour and interactions.
– Communicate effectively with teachers and parents regarding student progress and well-being.
Qualifications and Requirements:
– Previous experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting.
– Strong communication skills and a patient, supportive approach to learning.
– A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential.
– Relevant qualifications or training in education or child development would be advantageous.
