New Directions are working with a fantastic secondary school in Canterbury to recruit a brand-new English teacher to join their team in September 2025. This is a full-time position and will include teaching English literature and language to KS3, 4 and 5 students, including planning and marking. Successful candidates will have excellent knowledge of the British National Curriculum, and although experience is preferable, the school are happy to consider ECTs, providing they check all other boxes.
The school itself recently received a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating and are keen to push forward to improve that rating to an outstanding. The school are consistently involved in helping local charities and have an excellent culture, so they are looking for someone who can come in and embrace the school ethos.
