What We’re Looking For:
A strong passion for teaching English Language and/or Literature
Ability to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4); KS5 experience is an advantage
EWC registration (or willingness to register)
A valid, enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
Both experienced teachers and Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) are encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
Teach English Language and Literature in line with the national curriculum
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking
Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment
Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
Contribute to departmental planning and wider school initiatives
Stay up to date with curriculum developments and best practices
Participate in school activities, including events outside normal teaching hours when required
