I feel that the ‘Reading for Pleasure’ initiative is very important in getting children to read more. I loved reading as a child and feel it is such a fun way to learn whether you enjoy, factual or fiction books or even reading the likes of comics or graphic novels which can also be very educational. It was also such an honour to meet the Mayor, Mayoress and Jacqueline and be a part of the opening of the library and Reading for Pleasure initiative”.
