Amazing Motivational Methods at Undy Primary school

This term Rachel Allen, Primary Account Manager for Monmouthshire had the great pleasure of supporting Undy Primary School, Magor with Educational Prizes for their motivational raffle.

Mark Gunn, the Headteacher at Undy Primary approached New Directions to make a positive contribution to their motivational raffle at the school. The idea was to reward pupils who consistently work hard and always adhere to school rules. When teachers witnessed this behaviour from pupils, they would be rewarded with a raffle ticket and the chance to win a prize at the end of the week. After receiving their 5th Healthy School award, Mr Gunn was very keen for prizes to be of an educational and healthy nature.

The team at New Directions thought that the motivational raffle was an excellent idea and were delighted to help. Anna Powell, Primary Branch Manager said ‘New Directions are keen to support initiatives that promote inclusion in the classroom, and celebrate the successes of pupils who consistently do their best’.

New Directions were thrilled to donate Undy Primary with over 30 prizes for the raffle. These were an assortment of colouring books, stationary sets, stickers, stamps, art sets, and even a few One Direction pencil cases for their adoring fans! Mark Gunn was very pleased with the donations and thanked New Directions and commented, ‘At Undy Primary School we prepare pupils to become happy, confident and independent, lifelong learners. All pupils are encouraged to be the best they can be in our safe and exciting school, where all children are included and treated equally’.
