Wirral primary schools through to the next round in Tranmere Rovers tournament
Another week has gone by and it is time to once again congratulate all the teams that took part in last Friday’s Tranmere Rovers football tournament. It was a tough competition but a special mention goes out to FENDER PRIMARY, WOODCHURCH ROAD PRIMARY AND ST JOSEPHS PRIMARY (WALLASEY) who successfully made it through to the next round.
Sam Pilling, Wirral Branch Manager for New Directions comments, ” I was delighted to attend the tournament on Friday, it is a great opportunity to work with local primary schools and support the community. Working alongside Tranmere Rovers is an absolute pleasure and demonstrates our commitment to supporting local sporting organisations.”
This week we will see another 12 primary schools taking part, all determined to get to the finals and put in their best efforts. Jen Morrison, Primary Account Manager for Wirral says ” I have loved getting to meet the pupils taking part and hearing how excited everyone is. There has clearly been a lot of effort put in from all of the teams and their coaches so its great to see it all put into action.”
New Directions Education wishes teams playing this Friday every bit of luck.
The tournament will start at 4pm on Friday 16th October 2015 at Weatherhead High School.
