Montessori Teacher

Montessori teaching began in 1897 when the founder of the education philosophy, an Italian physician named Maria Montessori, began to develop her ideas in Rome. Since then, this type of education has grown to be very popular worldwide with schools adopting the approach of  respecting for a child’s psychology and promoting their independence.

Montessori education caters for children from birth to eighteen years old in some establishments but the most usual mixed age classrooms tend to be for children aged from 2-6 years old.

New Directions Education supplies many staff to Montessori schools and nurseries across the UK and as such, we are looking for experienced Montessori practitioners to register immediately for supply work.
