1:1 LSA – full-time required immediately

New Directions are currently supporting an alternative provision in Birkenhead.

The school are looking for a 1:1 LSA to start after February half time. The appointed candidate will support a student in KS3 who has physical disabilities.

The role of the LSA is to enable the pupil to access the curriculum and encourage them to become as independent as possible.

You will be required to assist and support the pupil navigating through the school and from lesson to lesson, as well as in the classroom and during breaks.

The role is 5 days long term, with a view to a permanent contract at the school.

LSA’s with a child and adult DBS’ registered on the update service would be advantageous due to the immediate start element of the role.

Rates of pay are competative and PAYE.
