To provide a quality educational staff supply service to all schools and education supply workers in Liverpool and surrounding areas, in a manner that enhances the reputation of New Directions Education and leads to business growth from satisfied customers
Responsibilities:
To recruit, vet and maintain effective working relationships with all candidates available for supply work within your designated area of responsibility
To develop relationships in all using schools with the full range of staff who might benefit from our services: The person in ‘charge of supply’, the head-teacher, the ALNCO and staff responsible for filling vacancies (heads of departments / deputy heads).
Visit a minimum set number of schools per week as agreed with your Manager in line with the Branch Strategy and to incorporate dedicated days out on pre-arranged calls, generating new business and providing quality follow up service visits for existing clients. Whilst on visits and during call activity to schools promote ND Ed full services i.e. CPD training.
To secure additional school relationships through making suitable contact, at a suitable time, in a suitable way, with a suitable offering, thus finding additional work opportunities for your registered supply staff.
To establish, maintain and develop relationships with clients in your area that have a demand for educational supply staff. Organise and attend Cluster Meetings so that Head teachers will allow ND ED to fully promote all areas of our services with user and non-user schools present.
Whilst in telephone contact with clients and candidates; simultaneously navigate the computer system, responding to prompts whilst maintaining a conversation and updating the database with information being gleaned, in a disciplined manner.
Undertake effective outbound sales calls to secure work for your supply staff and where practical convert to an appropriate booking in accordance with specified processes, procedures, standards and relevant New Directions Education Ltd regulations.
Maintain regular contact with all of your supply staff to keep them in your fold and available for work through New Directions Education Ltd for the maximum % of their time.
Ensure that the administration, reporting and record keeping are completed accurately, on time and adhere to all specified processes, procedures, standards and relevant New Directions Education Ltd regulations.
Prepare suitable quality CVs and profiles for all supply staff seeking long-term work.
Adhere to branch KPI’s, set by the Branch Manager
Ideal Candidate:
Fully competent at all aspects of the recruitment consultant role (minimum of 12 months in a billing consultancy role)
Full understanding of desk revenue generated as per set budget GP for individual plan
Excellent negotiation skills
Excellent margin control
Ability to build effective relationships
Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Strong knowledge of AWR
Ability to build quality relationships with candidates, clients, and local community
Full driving licence
