Cleaner

Location: Stockport

Start Date: 31st March 2025

New Directions are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Cleaner to work in one of our Partner Secondary schools based in Stockpot. Previous Cleaner experience is essential for this role. The role is covering a Maternity starting from 31st March 2025.

Responsibilities of the role included but are not limited to:

• Cleaning certain parts of the school site.
• Vacuuming carpeted areas and washing floors.
• Sweeping areas.
• Emptying and cleaning bins.
• Spot cleaning of spillages.
• Cleaning desks, seats and skirting boards.
• Cleaning toilet areas and replenishing toiletries.
• Cleaning doors and windows.

Job Specification:

• Location: Secondary school in Stockport

• Hours: 2:30pm-6pm (Monday to Friday)

• Pay: £13.09 per hour

Person Specification

• Have experience working as a cleaner (Essential)
• Have experience working as a cleaner in schools (desirable)
• COSHH Trained (desirable)
• Someone who is committed and reliable
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service OR be willing to apply for one
