Early Years SEND Teaching Assistant Cheetham Hill Full-Time | ASAP £425-£450 per week (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)
New Directions Education is looking for a dedicated Early Years SEND Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for an early years pupil with autism (ASC). This fantastic opportunity is in a welcoming primary school at the heart of North Manchester, with excellent transport links via bus, train, and car.
About the Early Years SEND Teaching Assistant Role:
Provide personalised 1:1 support to a Reception pupil with autism.
Foster a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
Work closely with the SENDCo and class teacher to implement tailored learning strategies.
Encourage interaction and participation within the classroom.
Support the child’s academic, social, and emotional development.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience with autism (ASC) and speech & language needs.
A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A positive, patient, and encouraging approach.
Experience in education and training settings.
