EYFS SEMH Teacher
Salford
Full-Time

£600-£900 Per Week (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)

This well respected SEMH setting is based in Salford is looking to recruit a EYFS SEMH Teacher on a full-time basis.. This specialist setting caters for primary aged learners with SEMH & Complex Needs; most students are on the autism spectrum with speech, language and communication needs. Strong Senior Leaders have created a calm, structured learning environment where their students thrive. Small specialist classes are well staffed and resourced throughout the setting. The ideal EYFS SEMH Teacher will have full class teacher responsibilities and will teach across EYFS tailoring their approach to those with SEMH & Complex Needs.

As a EYFS SEMH Teacher in a SEMH School you’ll be expected to:

  • Teach subjects across the Early Years ;
  • Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment.
  • Have a strong understanding of SEMH and Complex Needs
  • Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
  • Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation.
  • Maintain discipline.
  • Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupil’s development.
  • Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area.
  • Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum.
  • Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.

To apply the candidate must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching EYFS
  • Able to provide Referees.
  • An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Experience in the education and training sector.
