About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Supply EYFS Teacher to join our team, covering various primary schools across the Manchester area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early years education and be committed to providing a nurturing, engaging, and dynamic learning environment for young children. This role offers flexibility, making it perfect for those who enjoy variety in their teaching practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering planned lessons to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Creating a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes the development of each child.
  • Providing clear and effective instructions, maintaining good classroom management.
  • Monitoring and supporting children’s progress, ensuring that all children are included and challenged.
  • Working collaboratively with school staff to ensure smooth transitions between lessons and a consistent learning experience.
  • Adapting lessons to meet the diverse needs of young learners.
  • Communicating with parents and carers as necessary, ensuring a positive and supportive relationship.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (EYFS-specific qualifications are a plus).
  • A passion for teaching and working with young children in an EYFS setting.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early childhood development.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • A positive and adaptable attitude, with the ability to work in different school environments.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willing to apply for one).
  • Previous experience working with EYFS children.
