£31,650- £49,084 (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)

This outstanding Secondary School based in West Lancashire are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Maths Teacher to join their wonderful team for a long term role starting after half term right through until the end of the academic year. We are looking for someone who is dedicated and committed to achieving the best results across both key stages. Evidence of achieving successful outcomes at KS3 and KS4 is desirable, although ECTs will be considered for the post.

As a Maths Teacher you’ll be expected to:

• Hold a PGCE and UK QTS
• Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
• Maintain discipline.
• Lesson Planning and overseeing parents evenings
• Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and ambitious
• Have a passion for teaching secondary maths
• To deliver Maths to groups of pupils from all abilities across ages 11 – 18 according to their educational needs and levels of ability.

The Successful Maths Teacher must have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience Of Teaching Maths
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Able to provide Referees.
• An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Passionate about teaching Maths
