Maths Teacher
Chatham
February 2025 – July 2025
£120 – £150 per day (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)

This outstanding Secondary School based in Chatham is looking for a progressive and supportive Maths Teacher to join their team. This will be a long-term role starting in February and continuing through to the end of the academic year, with the possibility of becoming permanent. We are seeking a strong and enthusiastic Maths teacher who can deliver inspiring lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5. Applications from ECTs are warmly welcomed, and induction support will be available.

As a Maths Teacher, you’ll be expected to:

• Hold a PGCE and UK QTS.
• Plan, prepare, and teach lessons that cater to all student ability ranges.
• Maintain discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
• Handle lesson planning and attend parents’ evenings.
• Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative, and ambitious.
• Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students aged 11 – 18, meeting their educational needs and ability levels.

The Successful Maths Teacher must have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience in teaching Maths.
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• References available upon request.
• An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one).
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• A passion for teaching Maths.
